1. Definitions- Organizer — P/E Viacheslav Demish.
- Participant — an individual who books/purchases a hike/trek.
- Services — organization and delivery of day hikes, overnight/weekend trips, and multi-day treks/expeditions.
2. Booking & Payments- A booking is confirmed once the deposit is received and the Organizer sends a confirmation.
- Deposit amounts and conditions depend on the tour type (see §3).
- Any remaining balance (if applicable) is due before the start of the trip.
- Currency: Georgian Lari. Payment method: bank transfer. Payment processor fees are borne by the payer unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellations & Refunds “Personal reason” means any Participant-side circumstance (including illness, work, visa/transport issues, etc.).3.1. Day hikes- Deposit: 100% upfront.
- Refunds: full refund if canceled by the Organizer; non-refundable if the Participant cancels for a personal reason.
3.2. Overnight/weekend trips (one night)- Deposit: 50%. Remaining 50% due before start.
- Refunds: full deposit refund if canceled by the Organizer; deposit non-refundable if the Participant cancels for a personal reason. If 100% was already paid and the Organizer cancels — all amounts paid are refunded.
3.3. Multi-day treks/expeditions- Deposit: 30%. Balance due before start.
- Refunds: full deposit refund if canceled by the Organizer; deposit non-refundable if the Participant cancels for a personal reason. If 100% was already paid and the Organizer cancels — all amounts paid are refunded.
3.4. Refund timing - Refunds are processed via the original payment method (where possible) within up to 10 business days after confirmation of cancellation.
3.5. Force majeure- For safety/weather/regulatory reasons the Organizer may modify or cancel a trip. If canceled by the Organizer — refunds apply as above.
3.6. Name changes- Subject to the Organizer’s approval, a Participant may transfer their spot to another person who meets safety and gear requirements.
4. Participant requirements & safety- Minimum age: 18+ (or with written guardian consent and appropriate supervision).
- The Participant confirms adequate fitness and absence of medical contraindications.
- The Participant must follow guide instructions, group rules, and gear requirements.
- The Organizer may refuse participation without refund if safety requirements are not met due to the Participant’s fault (e.g., missing critical gear).
5. Insurance- Participants are strongly advised to obtain personal insurance covering hiking/trekking activities for the trip duration.
6. Itinerary changes- The route, duration, logistics, and included services may be adjusted before or during the trip for weather/logistics/safety reasons without diminishing the overall value of the program.
7. Liability- The Organizer is not liable for Participant’s personal belongings, transport delays, third-party actions, or force-majeure events.
- The Organizer’s total liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the Participant for the relevant service.
8. Photo/video- Unless the Participant opts out in writing before the trip, they grant the Organizer permission to use photos/videos taken during the trip for program illustration.
9. Governing law & disputes- These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes shall be resolved amicably; failing that, in the courts at the Organizer’s registered location.
